William Worcester's goal is to paint serene impressions of the harmony of the natural world. He hopes the viewer can feel a sense of the places he paints and enjoy an accord with the beauty of nature. He is particularly drawn to wooded creeks, streams and rivers. In the flow of the water he finds a metaphor of the flow of life. He knows the wonderful harmonius beauty of the natural world can never be fully captured with the brush, but the very pursuit is a process that can enlighten the artist, and hopefully the viewer.
Using archival quality oil paints, canvas and panels his life's passion is creating his impressions of the play of light, serenity, wonder and beauty of the world of nature.
